Scouting Defenders
Every great restoration begins with the vehicle itself. We take the time to carefully source reliable donor Land Rovers from across the world, selecting only those that meet our strict criteria. This step is absolutely vital, it provides the foundation on which every detail of the restoration is built. By choosing the right vehicle from the outset, we ensure that our craftsmanship, expertise, and dedication can be fully realised.

Stripping and Assessment
We begin by assessing and dismantling the donor Land Rover, cataloguing each component with care. Parts are evaluated for their potential to be restored or sympathetically replaced, ensuring originality is preserved wherever possible. This process safeguards the authenticity of the vehicle while laying the groundwork for reliable performance long into the future.

Body and Upholstery
Every body panel is either meticulously restored, hand-formed to its original shape, or replaced where necessary. Our paint finishes are applied with precision, offering both enduring protection and timeless visual appeal. Inside the car is recovered and refurbished. Quality materials with lasting durability, comfort, and a refined sense of elegance.

Bringing Parts Back
Engines, gearboxes, and axles are carefully inspected, cleaned, and either refurbished or replaced where required. Alongside this, electrical systems, suspension, steering, braking, and fuel components are renewed, ensuring each vehicle represents our uncompromising standards.

Reassembly
The Defender is assembled with care and precision, following a structured process to allow for quality checks. Inside the seats are recovered, all around new full carpeting and roof lining replaced. Once the freshly painted panels are in place and sealed with brand-new rubber gaskets, we fit new windows, wheels, tires and other parts. Interior refinements follow: panels, roof lining, door fittings, and the dashboard are all meticulously installed to complete the cabin.

Shipping to the USA
Once the Defender is complete, it is shipped from England to the United States. You may choose to receive a detailed walkthrough from our team via video consultation, or experience it in person at our Vermont showroom, where you can see the vehicles firsthand and appreciate the uncompromising standard of craftsmanship we uphold.
